At Nourish2Thrive the focus is to nourish your body and mind so you can enjoy the lifestyle you live. The goal of our partnership is to create a positive relationship with food and while reaching your personal goals. Ask yourself these few questions:

  • Are you frustrated with your willpower?  Do you crave foods that you “know” you should not eat?

  • Are you thinking about food too much?

  • Are you feeling sluggish, especially in the mid-afternoon?

If you made a choice to change your eating habits, only to lead you down the path of frustration and feeling of failure.  I am here to tell you, it’s not your fault.  There is a lot of “noise” about what is the right plan or method, but your body is not a “cookie cutter” nutrition plan.  Together we identify any root causes that may inhibit your successes.

In my practice, my goal is that you feel empowered to have a positive relationship with food.   Happy in your own body and at peace that you are caring for yourself and your loved ones.  This practice takes time and I would be honored to share that time with you to help you feel good! I am a Dietitian, Nutritionist, and your health advocate. 

At Nourish2Thrive, I follow a three-step process:

  • Listen to your goals and help clarify them

  • Develop a plan to reach your goals

  • Implement your plan with you

I started working with Laura in January 2021 because I have some health issues that I felt diet can address.  My goal was to lose some weight and improve my health. I expected to have to count calories, severely limit portions, and starve!  My experience was exactly the opposite!

Laura showed me more of what to include in my diet vs what to exclude.  I admit that I really like fruits and vegetables so it was very easy for me to add more of them into my diet.  I also learned what foods to avoid.
